That Nadal signaled his team to book a practice court after the match even before he shook Isners hand shows the dedication and perfectionism this guy has even in his mid 30’s.
Wow that was the nicest Fognini I’ve ever seen after losing.
Warm regards to everyone who thought Captain Fog was going to win. Hell of a player, but when his opponent makes him work for the points he simply signs off.
Im sad for Dimitrov, i think he plays at a good Level right now. He had to face Tsitsipas 3 Times in the Last 4 tournaments If i remember correctly. Tsitsipas is Always really difficult to Play against, but i Hope He can keep this Level and make some further progress.
I’m sorry for Dimitrov, such a great player. Greetings from Rome Italy
Wow Fognini played so good but his Service Game in the third set was Quite unfortunate because he Double faulted 4 times in the 2 breaks that sinner got
I’m so proud of Dimitrov. He lost his past two games against Tsitsipas in 2 sets, but the improvement… wow. I really hope he beats Tsitsipas next time.
Is it just me or Rafa’s forehand looked (in some points) like we’re in 2009?
When you watch Dimitrov in full flow, you can’t help but think that he should already have numerous grand slams to his name. A combination of shaky mental fortitude, inconsistent level of play, and questionable shot selections at times is the reason why he doesn’t have more notable achievements under his belt.
0:26 Hell look how far Nadal is returning from
Great match of Sinner and Fognini, but in the end as expected the mental game prevails.
Aw-ah, I feel bad when some players lose, like with Isner. I hope Isner keeps doing well in doubles.
But congratulations to Rafael on his moving on.
Congrats to all the winners.
The template to beating Fognini is so straightforward: hit a baseline and then do a slice. There is no way he is rushing to the net. The last time he rushed to the net was just before Sinner was born.
Very nice salute at the net from Fogna to Sinner at the end of their match. I really like Fognini (he’s actually my 2nd fav player after Nole) but he’s usually a sour grape w opponents at the end, specially in close matches like this. This was refreshing to see coming from him.
Aww, fognini so sweet at the net!👍👍
But is it more of Godfather move or true appreciation?
Even sinner did not expect it.
Nadal pindiendo la pista beast mode
RG could be epic. Novak is edging towards some of his best stuff at the right time. Nadal is doing the same. Even Stan is getting there and he can be epic on Clay. Alcaraz has been a monster this year. So far. Now however he has 2 GOATS after revenge big time.
Is nadal saying “pide una pista” after his win? He is saying to his coach to go to next court to keep playing for training
Great battle of the Italians!! Baez is still a dangerous threat on clay…he can only get better with time
Love Sinner, such a fun guy.
