Man when I saw him play in Monte Carlo and Belgrade earlier in April I thought Novak would definitely not be a favorite to win the french this year, started the season too late, doesn’t look physically fit enough and just rusty af. Amazing how champions at his tier manage themselves and always seems to be able to find their groves at the right time. Now he is perhaps the favorite now with Nadal’s foot injury.

This man was no.1 in 2011.Now It’s 2022 & he is still no.1
Apart from 2017,he was no.1 in the world for 11 several years.🤭😲
This guy’s consistency level is best ever.Play aggressive like that Novak.RG & Wimbledon is coming.👑

Congrats Novak on a huge win and a great week! First title of 2022 and first title in over 6 months! Record extending 38th Masters 1000 title. 1001 career match wins. Novak is the clear favorite to win at Roland Garros playing at peak form right now on clay although he wasn’t extended to 3 sets in Rome and RG is best of 5 sets.

Столько побед, а Джокович всё ещё способен радоваться как в первый раз! Настоящий чемпион.

Bro Stefanos looked tired even before the match started😂 he kinda looked like that at the semifinal, even though he won. The first set was horrible for him (he actually said to himself ‘you play terribly’ in Greek, very true). But I think he made a solid effort to comeback in the second set taking into consideration the bagel he had just received. He even got hopes for going to a decider, but when Nole broke back and regained the momentum, Stefanos never got it back and lost his concentration during the critical times. He didn’t push though when needed, but he did fight.
Nole is literally a physical and mental beast, no doubt about that. I think he is close to his best self and definitely one of the favourites (if not the favourite) for the RG. Absolutely deserved. No1 for a reason
I also loved the speeches between the two in the end, so much respect

Well done Djokovic, started fast this time, anyone who thinks he wont get another Major is out of their mind!

what I find amazing, he gets down 2-5 in the second and then turns it up a notch, it’s almost like he got gears no one else has…… just a great player who’s got to be the heavy favorite going into the French…….congrats Novak!

I am Greek but Novak is my hero. I admire his skills and ethos. After all his adventures in Australia he is back.

Novak Djocovic is an analyst…he analyse his opponnent and is reading the way they play…that is unbelieveble smart..

So happy for Djokovic after what he’s been through in Australia earlier this year. It’s not easy to come back to win a tournament but he’s getting better and better.

I knew Novak was gonna win after what Tsitsipas said about Novak during all that Melbourne saga. Novak just uses all that adversity and anger he channels it nicely internalises it and than wipes the floor with people. Thank you Novak

sorry Rudy

This was my first tennis match I’ve ever watched and I loved it. I’m really getting into the sport and I never knew I’d like it this much.

I was at the match and kudos to Tsitsipas for hanging in as he already looked tired during the knock up and was half a step late for most of the match…….Djokovic played well and was always controlling the rallies even when he was behind in the second set.Would have liked to have seen a deciding set,but there was only going to be one winner and that was Novak.
