Jannik Sinner has improved a lot in the last season. Now he has a very solid serve, and he proved he can be strong also on Grass and Clay. Mentally, he’s already one of the best on tour. He was stopped from injuries, or he would have reached others SF and F this year. Can he be a future number 1? To me, the answer is a big YES.

Waouh Sinner outplayed Alcaraz in every aspect of the game, especially in last two sets. He was as said by the commentators “in the ZONE”. We need to make a petition for more Sinner vs Alcaraz 🔥

The best thing was seeing them smile and joke during the awards ceremony, 2 great champions on and off the court, tennis has finally found its future 🎾❤️

Once again Jannik showing incredible mental strength coming back from a set and 3 breakpoints down. Very impressive and well deserved win.

Congrats to Sinner. Sinner’s calm demeanor will help him big matches when his back is against the wall. I think this is going to be the rivalry of the next decade.

I am 68 years old and I have been watching tennis since the days of Rod Laver, Arthur Ashe, Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl. John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg and many others. These two guys are great. I have witnessed some remarkable tennis over the years that tested the limits of human physical capability but I am surprised how the young guys these days are doing what I just witnessed in this final. I don’t see how their bodies are going to be able to keep up with what their minds are telling them to do. I am excited for the future of the game. People who are not watching tennis are really missing something. This is an incredible sport to observe when played at this level.

Sinner was dominant here, even in the first set (which Carlos won). His shots were 25% faster than Alcaraz’s at all times. Carlos was on the defensive the entire match.

Jesus those slap forehands from Sinner are insane, he really improved that stroke, it was already good but in this match insanely good.

Alcaraz hasn’t been in the really explosive form he was earlier this year, but I also think some of the other players are starting to work out how to play him. It’ll be interesting to see how he performs the rest of the season. My guess is he could do with a bit of a rest.

Absolutely WOW. Sinners RETURNS!!! They starting heating up late in the second set and MAN did that put pressure on poor carlos. Tough to lose twice to sinner in a matter of a few weeks. Carlos’s team might have to think of a different strategy for him. I think Sinner’s backhand and returns were much better than Carlos in this match and that’s what led him to a very comfortable score of 6-1 6-1 in the 2nd and third sets.

VAMOOOOS. I knew he could do it. Everyone rambling about Alcaraz having the edge on clay… Sinner broke through on clay and has always been great on the surface even though he hadn’t won a title yet.

Congrats to Sinner. He really played hell in the 2nd and the 3rd, having completely dismantled Alcaraz.

Alcaraz played 67% of first serve in the second and third set but his service has been broken 5 times out of 7.
Return is the most important fundametal in modern tennis, everyone can serve but a few ones can return properly.

We’ll definitely be seeing these guys in many GS finals in the future. They’re both incredible.

Unbelievable performance by sinner, great hitting, great groundstroke, the only way to beat alcaraz is you have to hit harder than him mix with some great dropshot and passing shot

OK – this is a big match. I’ve always thought Alcaraz was going to be and remain a class above Sinner. Not anymore. On top of his devastating ground strokes, he now has the drop shots, the serve, the mental strength … everything.

The way Sinner saved all 9 break points was astounding. Congrats to him for lifting the trophy.

Sinner has the aura of a cool prince, but he actually has more fighting spirit than anyone else. Congratulations Prince!

These two are both just so likeable so hard-working and epitomize everything that’s great about tennis. Definitely were the successors to the big four
