looks like rublev has slightly changed his forehand. much more strategic instead of relying on all out power and steps into short balls better

Kyrgios made two semi’s and a final in his grass court season. Would be great to see him take that form into the hard courts!

Nick looks incredibly motivated. He’s the one to watch if he can keep his head down throughout the week.

Hopefully the Wimbledon finals loss ignited something in Kyrgios, he has the talent to be an all time great

Kyrgios seems to be more confident about his backhand this year. I think he decided to improve that part of his game and rightly so, it has served him well.

Kyrgios looks like he ACTUALLY WANTS TO BE THERE lately. This could be great for him and Tennis fans!

From what I’m seeing here, yeah it looks like Nick is actually having fun now. I wonder if something shifted as of recent before Wimbledon and after Australian Doubles Open.

Nick has that nervous system of chill. He never seems to have any tension at all. It’s signature. His body language is always like that. He stands out in that way. On a side note, I miss the underhand serve. He seems to do it often and should underhand serve more often. It’s just a novelty that I like. I happen to like it. Others find it rude, but it’s within the rules.

Let me just start by saying, I really like Draper as a player. He’s usually an attacking player and with his lefty style he’s able to take control points and dominate matches. In this match against Rublev, it appears he lost because he wasn’t dictating the points enough. He had some nice rallies where he had his strong forehand rublev’s backhand, but unfortunately, that wasn’t going to cut it because Rublev backhand is really freaking solid. He needed to play more angles and get Rublev running. A little sad to see Giron bow out of the tournment. Kyrgios just has just a strong serves that it helps him with confidence in other parts of his game, such as with returns, and with point play. Not really much Giron could do, big congrats to kyrgios.

Hopefully Kyrgios will have a better Run this year in the city open without any hundred thousand dollar fines. Rublev’s forehand is looking great and finally Korda won a match.
