So happy for Nishioka. He’s been in bad form since his breakout season in 2020 but it seems like he’s on the comeback now!
Kygs will never stop impressed and surprise us!!!
so happy for nishioka he’s such a nice guy
Andrey, winning 2 matches in 1 day – let’s go! 🔥💯 And well done to Ymer & Nishioka for getting to the semis too👏🏼
Wasn’t shown here, but an interesting tactic by Kyrgios in that big tiebreaker. The crowd getting loud for Tiafoe’s match points, he just serves anyway – it’s a pretty quick way to get them to shut up
kyrgios impressed me. he was on the verge on getting out and under normal circumstances, he totally would but he managed to keep his cool and turn things around. i think that wimbledon final against djoker was a turning point in his career, he’s been so focused lately. hope so, dude has always been a wasted potential.
Unreal match from kyrgios
Mikael Imer what a beast, unreal playing from him 👏👏👏
congratulations on 1 mil, an undeniably well-deserved achievement.
Nice job Wolf for making it to the QFs. I remember watching his college videos and being like damn he’s in a different class than his opponents. Then you throw him against Rublev and you see how good these top 10 players really
Man, those were FIVE match points (I believe) which Tiafoe couldn’t capitalize on. Regardless, however, that was some gutsy play by Nick.
Nishioka has an amazing 2hd backhand – so much pace with control.
Dan Evans’ backhand @6:00 to win the point was a thing of beauty. Close match.
Kyrgios strikes again. Mannnn what a match. When he won that second set tiebreaker was literally yelling cmon’s at the TV! Tiafoe played great too. Nick is the better clutch player. This is Nick’s tournament!
impressive W’s by kyrgios and nishioka
Nick kept his cool, somehow, and got the match back in his hands. He’s been really solid lately
Nishioka win got me emotional. That was a tight match. Besides that, I LOVE YMER’s play style. He’s got variety and weapons, I just hope he can get more and more control over dropshots and stronger forehands. Amazing matches!
Krygios has been playing nonstop for close to a week now. He played and won the doubles event in Atlanta last week and has played every single day this week. Let’s hope he has enough left in the tank.
Nice to see Ymer having a run.
Congratulations Nick, you’re playing the best tennis of your career this year. Focused and consistent. Francis Tiafoe you have improved but you lose focus when you’re playing big matches and winning. You get too excited and start focusing more on the crowd than on your game. It’s your biggest weakness. Find the balance as you evolve.
