While I’m happy to see fritz win and advance, I can’t help but feel terrible for bweh. He’s really been struggling mentally lately.

What a win for FAA, Sinner completely collapsed after netting a routine forehand on his first match point. One of the biggest chokes of the year from Jannik, but Felix was also amazing

Love to watch Medvedev do his thing, not many could play his game and be successful. He is a special talent

Alcaraz picking up his hard court form. He should be able to reach the finals of this tournament. And could win the US open if he comes out for every match as disciplined as last night.

Glad rublev took the loss in stride. Dude just seems so stressed out. Hope he’s doing ok- I like Fritz too though

Excellent performance from Fritz, and a brilliant comeback from FAA! Really wasn’t expecting Sinner to lose there! Some wild shake ups recently!

The good thing about Alcaraz is his ability to master the dropshot tricks. He is so young and he is a doctorate already in a tennis drop shot. Bravo Carlos💗👏👍

You have to respect that Alcaraz fearhand then he’s got the dropper off that wing. Lethal combination.

Just when you think Sinner and Alcaraz will dominate ATP soon, now FAA and Fritz showed their color. Medvedev is still very strong, not sure about Rublev and Tsitsipas. Haven’t seen Zverev for a while, Kyorygios is a wild card. Rudd could break out as well. This year US open will be interesting.

I really like Rublev’s attitude. He always made the sign of the cross no matter win or lose. That’s exactly what faith is all about. Not about win or lose.

Taylor Fritz is killin’ it! So impressed with him. I think it’s fair to say that he is on another level than the other Americans right now.

What a choke from Sinner he dominated the 1st set, was one break up in the 2nd, 5-6 15-40 on FAA serve and managed to lose 🤦‍♂️ on the otherside great resilience and comeback from FAA

Alkaraz is really confident in doing a net play. He knows how and when.. that makes him one of the top players.

We might see Medvedev win this event as a solid preparation to defend USO, some way to go though.

Didn’t expect it but these are pretty exciting times in men’s tennis. With the Big Three nearly gone, the field is wide open.

Medvedev, Zverev, Fritz, Tsitsipas, Rublev, FAA, Sinner, Alcaraz, Ruud, Hurkacz, Norrie, Kyrgios, Shapovalov… they all can beat each other on any given day.
Very hard to predict the outcome of the big tournaments.

Other than those DFs, Alcaraz was flawless today really picking up steam before the USO. His serving has been much improved this tournament
