Do people realize that borna’s title journey is one of the most inspiring and memorable moments ever in tennis. Considering how much hype he had as a youngster but injuries held him back. His draw this week was brutal, he had no help in the draw. Truly inspiring.

I remember Borna Coric being touted as one of the next great tennis players, and then he seemed to disappear off the map due to various injuries. I am surprised but happy to see him win a masters 1000 against a pretty tough field considering he hasn’t made a masters 1000 final since 2018, and lost in the 1st round of most of the masters this year. Hopefully we’ll see Coric make some deeper runs into tournaments in the near future!

Tsitsipas looked very uninspired in that second set. Kudos to Coric being relentless as ever. Well deserved first masters title.

I’m genuinely happy that he won the most significant trophy of his career so far, hoping he’ll go even better. Congrats Borna❤👍

Absolutely LOVED how borna was playing! His serve, fenomenal, backhand, crazy good, forehand not as strong as tsitsipas but still very high level. This man is unstoppable. He plays aggressive nonstop, thinks before each point of strategy. Really happy that he’s healthy and back playing again. Wow, what an athlete!

First time in ages that I have seen Coric’s forehand work as well as it did in this tournament. His backhand has always been good.

Monumental win for Borna. He’s been plagued with injuries and setbacks even at the young age of 25. Inspired tennis beating out many greats of the game. Well deserved. Let’s hope he keeps this up. His game reminds me of a slightly more aggressive Djoko. Well done!!

Really conjures up something of Djokovic, and that’s the highest praise there is. Sharpens his game under pressure, precise hitting, compact no-nonsense strokes, and hot wheels on court. Wonderful to see him back on tour, and hope he does well in NYC!

Borna was insane this whole week, if he keeps this level up he’s going to be a major dark horse for the USO. Amazing run

Congrats to Coric – what a week for him beating 5 seeded players (Nadal, RBA, FAA, Norrie and Tsitsipas) along the way to the title, very well deserved after everything he’s been through with undergoing rehab.
All the best to him for the US Open 🙂

I’ve not seen the Coric play in quite sometime but I was impressed with what I saw in the match highlights. Nice he has been able to overcome injury. First time I saw him play a match of any consequence was against Federer many years ago in which he won the match from my recollection. I thought he was talented back then but from what I’ve seen now his game has definitely grown as well as his willpower. And I have to say with all the highlights I’ve seen from Cincinnati his backhand down the line has been impeccable throughout the tournament. Good on you kid congratulations ☮️

Coric has the potential to be a consistent name in the top 5. Wish him all the best and hope he has no more major time lost due to injuries

Coric was insane this week, the finals match especially, i was in person and it was even more insane cause the crowd was so damn one sided, just like rblev vs zverev last year, but Coric did really well considering he said he thought he would get knocked out first round

What a determination and intensity. Brilliantly done for the whole week. More of that please Mr Coric.

What a performance…
Especially, after all the injuries he’s faced.

You could say he’s, “Borna-Again” 💪

Unbelievable. One of the most amazing runs in masters 1000, I can remember. Garcia’s isn’t too far behind either. Both amazing stories this year.
