Adrian Mannarino’s game reminds me of Hsieh Su-Wei. Very unorthodox, yet effective. And fun to watch.

Aging like fine wine, Mannarino. Largely flawless run since barely surviving O’Connell in the first round, saving match points (0-40 on serve and saved 4 MP from there), as well as enduring 3h30min of lung-busting attrition in the heat. Who would’ve thought he’d bulldoze his way to the title from there? The fairytale stories of the tour continue.

Mannarino seems like an immensely tricky guy to play against. A left hander, his racket has almost no string tension, all his groundstrokes are unconventional, his serve has a lot of kick, he’s a good volleyer. Very interesting to watch

I’m really, really happy for this Mandarino win. Lot of players have been struggling after 2019 with the pandmc troubles, many of them never recovered from it. He was one of the players who had the best season in 2019 (winning Hertogenbosch, his first ATP title after lot of lost finals) and then all of the sudden everything happened since 2020. It’s a tricky and watchable player. Hope most players who had been struggling can find their level back.
Never give up.

Such a great match, really would’ve liked to have seen it go three sets. However, you could just see that Djere I was getting super tired in the second set. It looked like almost every time a survey or a rally went to his forehand side, especially if it was a short angle forehand, Djere we’re just headed in the net and looked defeated. I’m not sure if he’s having trouble with his four hands, or what is going on. he did have a super long tournament though, all of his other matches leading up to the final went three sets, super tiring. Really love the strategy and tactics that Mannarino used though. Love that lefty out wide slicer serve that brings the opponent way outside the alley and then opens up the whole court. Great second ATP win for him, Congrats!

Mannarino’s game doesn’t get enough attention, love his unorthodox serve and he has great hands. One of my favourites to watch on the tour

Love Adrian’s composure, emotionally balanced, no 100 fist pumps, bicep curls, box stare downs.

Just pure tennis, with respect for fans. Umpire, opponent, and the sport!

Yes Mannarino is a superb strategist, but lacks youth and power on his ground strokes.
He’s extremely skillful and smart. He usually finds the right shot at the right time and has excellent execution.

Very interesting to watch Adrian play, moves so easy, light a butterfly. Like his yin yang approach: white shirt for first set, black shirt for 2nd set. Felicitations Adrian!!! Geniale! 🥳💫title nr 2 🏆🏆

The drive of Mannarino is like it has a kind of lag, when you expect to hit, he already hit. Looks really weird but effortless and effective. Happy for Mannarino and his unorthodox tennis
