Iga has this extraordinary determination under pressure, reminds me of Steffi graff. when she closes, there’s no escape. Congratulations, she’s all class and fully deserved this victory, one of many to come.

10 titles, including 3 grand slams at just 21 years old. Wishing her a healthy career, its almost certain that she is going to be one of the greatests ever

I really adore this kid, she’s so humble and tender. She doens’t have the best serve for hardcourts, but still it’s enough for her.

I hope Iga stays healthy and has a long career. She is just so much fun to watch. Refreshing tennis now that so many legends have retired.

I predicted this 6 months ago. People told me I was dumb considering Iga is only a great clay specialist. I also said she liked the court because its the same as Miami Open’s surface. Many more US Open titles to come for Swiatek.

From the all 3 Grand slams, that was maybe the most special one for Iga Swiatek. And while in both Roland Garros (2020 and 2022) she was in great form, in US Open she wasn’t in that great form. Many people excepted from her to flop in US Open, because of her weak results in the previous north american tournaments (Toronto and Cincinnati). And for real, in her way to the title she got many obstacles (losing first sets from Niemeier and Sabalenka and losing with 1:4 but winning with 6:4 in the second set against Davis). But as i said before, the thing which kept her in the game, was her determination and champion instinct. The fact she won a GS, even without being in her greatest form, shows how big class is Iga Swiatek. And if she is capable to win GS with mediocre form, imagine on what she would be capable when she comes to her prime. Immensely proud of being Iga fan. A new era of women tennis is coming! JAZDA!

Iga just missed some shots then people already counting her out. And she’s proved it, she is a worthy champion. 10/11 WTA and GS trophies already

Iga, you will give me a hart attack one day! 3:0 and 4 breaks and you let it slip. Appreciate a lot you stayed in the game! I believe Niemeier was the “Black Horse” of this tournament and whoever took her was very likely to win. I posted after that game that Iga might be able to go all the way – I’m glad she did. I wish Ons to win GS but not the one where she plays in the finals with Iga:)

She came out of the blue in 2020 and won the major on her favourite surface, playing amazing tennis. The following year she didnt won another major but with her consistency she made it and stayed to the top 10. And now in 2022 she took the next step and is a dominant no1 with 2 grand slams and another 5 titles won this year, she has more than double the ranking points of no2 (ons) . What a great story iga is

I can only say=
The way Iga covers the court…..attack and defence….is simply perfect.

She lost in early rounds in the 3 hard court tournaments prior to US Open, and some people may have counted her out already. What a come back

Only 21 and now already a 3 time major winner. First since kerber in 2016 to win 2 in a year. She owns clay and is finding her self on hard courts. She has a shot yearly at 3/4 majors. Others best hope she don’t figure out grass . Loves in France and now America knows who she is. 🇵🇱🇵🇱

Ons, Garcia and Rybakina all emerged this year, but 2022 has been Iga’s year, so I’m glad she closed out the majors with this huge win. She deserves all the praise and money coming to her! It’s nerve-wracking rooting for her, but at the end of the day, her determination proves the difference maker. On to the WTA Championship!

Winning a major without playing at your best level is exceptional. Everyone knows Swiatek in this tournament played nothing close to the form she carried during start of year but she somehow managed to beat her opponents which include three top 10 wins. This girl is far ahead of other wta tour as she has mentality to win against odds. This is something serena does winning tournaments without displaying her A tennis. Swiatek is most promising number 1 and has capability to win 10+ majors

Iga’s ability to go in and out of the corners is really special plus that Forehand is so wicked with so much action

Iga isn’t promoted heavily outside of Poland, and it’s clear that she isn’t the “chosen one” as far as the western media is concerned. But the real superstars don’t need to be manufactured; they announce themselves to the world. She is special.
