Even at the age of 35, Djokovic still maintains very high standard, this is so called GOAT.
Novak is a consistent, determined, mentally tough, physically fit, highly talented tennis monster.
Man, This is called Tennis perfection…Novak is levels above Rublev here in every department..Serve, Those returns🥶🥶(Godtier), his Groundstrokes(precise) everything..No one is gonna defeat him here..
Well, Novak at his clinical best and man, what a returner he is, perhaps the best in history. He made mince meat of Rublev who looked a bit out of sorts through a combo of Novak’s exemplary play and the pressure he put on his opponent to unsettle his rhythm. Novak is an exponent in that sphere. And he is now going for his record equalling 6th ATP World tour title and what an achievement that would be if he makes it. A year end win would also impart needed momentum to his Australian open campaign where he should win to pay back the country which mistreated him in the most horrendous fashion.
Regardless of the many bad things that happened to him due to the pandemic, he is still here, I think that everything he went through in the last two years made him even more motivated to compete,the break he took this year recharged his batteries and extended his career.
The career Djokovic has put together is staggering. I think he’s eclipsed Nadal as well as Federer. You can’t act like 5 ATP Finals is incidental when discussing the biggest titles… it might not have the prestige of a grand slam but it’s high-calibre competition in virtually every round and a niche event in that its indoors… no-one has performed in big tournaments on all surfaces with the same consistency as Djokovic.
The real number 1 is back. What a shame what they did to Djokovic this year.
There is no sign of aging and Novak Djokovic is shining like a super star as ever. There is saying in Punjabi language , a committed one doesn’t take rest and Novak Djokovic is an embodiment if this saying the more he gets old the more he shines.

Djokovic is not a historic figure in Serbia, he’s a historic figure on a planetary level. That level of tennis at this age is stunning.

If he was able to play all tours this year, he might not be champions of all but the world No.1 position would never ever call the kid’s name, for sure!
Commentator’s words during match ~ ” Djokovic is hitting in the middle of the needle through his racket. He is getting better, and better, and better. 5 star tennis from a 5 star player”. What a healthy mindset, a gladiator, a terminator, the wolf. I reckon, if he comes to Aus open 2023, he will be blazing and storming against opponents in straight sets, he will be on a mission for sure, what we had witnessed in 2011.
You cannot destroy this man, you cannot stop him.

It’s simply unbelievable how easily he wins, and they are all players from the top 10 in the world, and that’s just this week…many of the top players don’t win as many top tennis players in a whole year. Novak is a class above, the god of this game !!!
If you’re a technical purist, Novak’s game is simply eye candy. Roger had a lot more spontaneous genius in this game but Novak’s execution and preparation for every point is just too perfect

Djokovic is simply amazing. Probably underrated but he always has amazing depth on almost every shot, with loads of topspin. Constructs points consistently well aided by his athleticism.
94% of first serve points won and only 8 first serves missed. That’s absurd!
Djokovic is on another level, especially on hard courts. Why isn’t he world number one?
Novak made Rublev look like an inexperienced child. I know Rublev can be hot headed but I think this is the most impactful his anger has been on a set he was actually in. For this to be the ATP Finals and allow your anger to cause you to lose that badly, even against the greatest player on the tour, just doesn’t look good or promising for his career.

Amazing performance by Novak. At times he had flashes of his past. On the other hand, it is unfortunate that Rublev left the match after losing the 1st set.
