Gasquet is still tough but he is literally aging in front of us. Rafa is in same boat. We saw Serena age and out of breath against a player outside the top 100. I know we all must age but these stars of my generation tell me one thing; I’m ALSO aging, lol! We’re all in our late thirties and early forties. These young guns are literally pushing us. Time for me to do my daily back stretch. Aging sucks.

You can see Gasquet had no gas left in the tank. How sad- his technique and flair is second to none

Had the privilege of seeing Gasquet in person. To think he achieved a top 10 ranking with basically only his backhand is astonishing. Hope he can be competitive this season.

It was a little tough to see Gasquet hobbled out there. On his face you could kind of see him contemplating “why am i still out here?”
