A true champion doesn’t just win in style, but can grind out a victory when the opponent is in top form. Korda played really well but Djokovic just edged not just with the mental strength, but can still think tactically when his body is in full motion. This is incredible.

At this point, I think Novak Djokovic needs two big rooms in his house to fill it with trophies, one is not big enough anymore. What a grandmaster!

Korda’s backhand down the line is a thing of beauty. Even though he lost today, hope he takes this form to the AO – he can do some serious damage there.

I discovered Nole in 2005, looking him in tv. I realized that he has something special, different, like his incredible flowing displacement in the court, his skills and so clever in tactics. I ve seen tennis along 40 years or more and I think that Nole’s talent is the greatest in tennis history. This is the reason why I ve been following, admiring and cheering for 17 or 18 years and counting… He is breaking records and records and goes on like firsts days. His resilience and mental strength grows as difficult is the situation. His incredible stretching, even nowadays, at 35. Sorry, my english is poor, I could say or enumerate hundreds of things.. Novak is the unique tennis player who, when he loss a match, I mean, a GS Final, that offers a sincerely huge to his opponent, he did this a lot off times. I respect Federer, Nadal, Sampras, Connors, Borg, etc etc. But no one like Novak. In Us Op 2020 was ridiculous expulsing, incredibily unfair. And 2022 Aussie scandal and Us Open 22 too… He should have, easily, 23 o 24 GS TODAY…but…the “Vaccine” and others craps… He didnt care, he goes on… I think that he can achieve even 4, 5 or 6 GS more, nobody knows.. But, tennis history will see….will see that NOVAK DJOKOVIC IS THE REAL GREAT PLAYER OFF ALL TIMES !!!

Djokovic’s skill deserves to get his world no. 1 back! He has been 36 years old this year, yet he still performs so extraordinary.

When the commentator was like ‘psychologically Korda winning the first set is huge’, I did think to myself ‘really?’ Because if I had a quid for every time Djoko has been 1-2 sets down before going full Super Saiyan to win the match, I’d be a very rich man indeed. It’s like his signature at this point. This was an absolute Nole classic – mental fortitude and athleticism on another level.

It is definitely sensational! Firstly, saving the match point when the serve game of Djokovic was 30-40 with disadvantageous scoreboard 5-6 in the second set. He ie really the toughest player in terms of the mental. He knows where he will take the most accurate step in order to reverse the clash against the adversaries. The viability and precision are also top-flight in order to dictate the points in the most crucial section. Massive congrats to Djokovic for the 92th ATP title!

No one:
Novak after losing the first set: Imma put an end to this man’s hopes and dreams.
Kudos to Seb for one hell of a fight but Novak is just Novak, man! He’s invincible right now and it’s such a great time to be alive to witness his peak! I truly believe 2023 will be HIS year! Idemo Nole! Here’s to history! Here’s to legacy! ✨

he is in a way out of this world !
But on the other hand he is so much more connected to this world and the good in this world then his colleagues are – and his decision and his strength to not obey under this enormous pressure he was standing proved this !
What an amazing sportsman and intelligent guy with pride and also humbleness !
Go Novak

Well done Novak, Truly deserved and to see so much support for you on your return to Australia is fantastic. Would love to see you winning number 10 and 22 and taking your number one back before the end of the month. It would just seem so appropriate.

What a match. Korda did better then i expected, just when you think Novak will finish match easy, he finds new wind. If he wants to be great champion he has to work on his mentallity.
Novak played really well, good warm up for AO.

Великий Джокович! Всё-таки он играет головой, а не ногами. Каждый удар-мысль, каждый удар-задумка. Приятно смотреть его шахматные расклады на корте.

Novak Djokovic is mentally so formidable that he can go toe to toe with the rising young stars two days in a row. His never give up approach is key to his success. And somehow he brings a different style of play against other players. Being tennis fans, we love these nailbiters. Thumbs up to both players!

People to this day don’t realize they are witnessing history. It is not everyday one gets to see THE GOAT do his thing. As a NADAL super fan I say it is about time everyone starts giving Djokovic the respect he deserves.

As an American, it would have been really cool to see Korda win. But respect to Djokovic, what an absolute mental giant. Comes back from a brutal first set and saves a match point in the second. Just incredible. Congrats Nole!

Djokovic is one scary dude! 😬

At 35,5 years of age, he can still demonstrate that Tennis is a mental game above all else and that age is just a number! 👏👏👏

Kudos to Korda for really challenging Djokovic, if it were any other player today he’d lost in straight sets!!! So tough luck today, I’ sure you’ll win many more titles in the future! 👍

We can now safely assume the Djokovic is the main favorite for AO23 and that there’s a very high probability he’ll leave Australia with: 93 titles, 22 Slams and world number 1 in the rankings 🤌 Not too bad ehi? 😉🇮🇹🏆
