These two 250 tournaments had such high quality finals, it’s amazing. Can’t wait to see the action in Melbourne, so many good players in the game right now. Kwon was absolutely killing it in these highlights. Hope he has some more of this energy for AO.
That last set was a battle. Let’s go Kwon!! I haven’t watched much of his matches but that semifinal with Draper made me a fan. 👏🏼
Kwon’s backhand was always good, but his forehand has become a major weapon. He’s also not conceding as much space behind the baseline, allowing him to dictate points much better. When he strikes a balance between aggression and consistency, he’s a force to be reckoned with.
What a game. What a player kwon is to take out a well fed agut who loves to challenge and Kwon showed last generation mastery truly a spectacle of tennis.
