This is a match where you want both players to win! I hate that they met in the 1st round. I wanted them to both go far!!! That was thrilling, especially the 4th and 5th. Commiserations to Matteo, and well done Andy. Keep going. He’s got a different spark about him this year 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

This was an epic match. So glad Andy kept his nerve in the final tiebreaker after missing that swing volley long.
Once again Berrettinis backhand let’s him down …throughout the whole match it was woeful and on his one and only matchpoint in a GS tournament the backhand lets him down when needed the most…damn it !!!! If only his backhand was as good and as his forehand he surely would be pressing as no 1 player in the world or at the very least a consistent top 5 player. Full credit to the old war house Murray he stayed the course in a gritty and tense 5 setter and prevailed in the end..kudos to him👏

I remember when he arrived on the scene in 2005. Still going strong 18 years later. That’s remarkable.
My favorite match Andy had was his 2012 semi final clash with Novak. He played insane tennis. Glad he won today, but that version of Murray would have swept Matteo
Murray is one of my favorites and i didn’t think he was going to win this match but I’m glad he proved me wrong, I hope he makes it to the quarters or semis, that would be incredible, hopefully he can keep up this game he’s got going
