What a high performance, match!
All credit to Coco keeping her composure for a very pro Radacanu crowd 🎾.

As Coco said in her interview, this was a highly anticipated match since the draw so I’m sure both of them were fighting off nerves. Coco definitely gave a free game during that second set while Emma couldn’t convert her break points and set points. A solid match from both. Congratulations to Coco.

It’s funny that Coco is 2 years younger than Emma but has been playing pro-tennis 2 years longer than Emma. Coco was just too good today and tough draw for her to meet Coco at such an early stage, but encouraging signs of improvement from Emma. Looking forward to seeing these two for years to come! Congrats to Coco. 🙂

This was actually a nice match. I can’t believe I’m saying this but Emma actually played well. She was solid. She showed a lot of heart and fight out there. Something you don’t normally see from her. Maybe because she was playing a younger player that’s also receiving a lot of attention. Of course if Emma came with this type of attitude and heart every match she would be ranked alot higher than 77 in the world and she wouldn’t have to play top ten players in the second round of slams.

Go Coco! Always rooting for you and great win there. Forehand could use some improvements but the defending was top-notch 🔥❤️

What a match! The quality of play and both players was good enough for finals. Both girls were clearly nervous in the tie breaker. Coco has shown that she is mentally mature by the courage she demonstrated in such a tight match on match point. The point construction was brave, first a drop shot and then the presence of mind to follow with a lob. Well played Coco. Better luck next time to Emma, a player I also admire a lot. Both girls have a great future in this game,no doubt.

Awesome performance, Emma. What an awesome game of tennis between these two youngsters. The next new young generation of great tennis players and what a breath of fresh air. Each player showed some intensity and very skillful crafted planned of execution back-to-back. Coco Gauff may have had the edge since she’s been playing injury free and with consistency. She has improved her tennis game after the loss to Iga Swiatek which made her realize she needed to up her game in order to compete against the very will trained athletes. This is all about hard work mentally and physically while spending time in the Gym. Everyone has the same potential to be the best, but it all boils down to focus and concentration, which is hard to do when you are playing in a very large stadium and a very large crowd. Hats off to both players for putting out a very exciting and entertaining game of Tennis. Sit back and relax, there’s more to come between these two promising tennis players.

To be top tier Emma is going to have to get some smoke into her groundstrokes. She was hitting approach shots within easy reach for Coco, as if to say “where would you like to hit it?” Wondering if she needs to develop her upper body strength….Iga’s strokes come off her racquet in the blink of an eye, and with power, and that’s what Emma needs to acknowledge…..IMO

Coco is definitely the person that I want to win the title the most. I feel like she deserves it the most because of her immense improvement over the past year. Good luck moving forward!
