Incredible match, but this one really irked me. It killed me to see Murray lose. I had high hopes for him to make it to the final. But watching him tonight, he definitely looked like he was on his last leg, so I suppose it was an inevitability. He played great though. Hopefully, we’ll see a lot more of Murray this year.

Still admire the fighting spirit of Andy. 5 hours against Berretini, almost 6 hours against Kokkinakis, and more than 3 hours against RBA. Hope that Andy can win a title this season.

Andy🧡 gave his all, again.💫 Kudus to both players. Roberto celebrated because he knows this could be last year that he goes so deep at a slam.

I would have loved for Andy to go further. To play 11 hours in 2 games, late night matches that finish 4AM, and the way you did, was outstanding. All the best for the 2023 season, Legend.

Bautista Agut celebrated that much right after the match as the totally partial crowd was constantly egged by Murray for ovations all throughout the match on some of his good points .

Andy’s tennis is 90% running, he wins points by running(i mean everyone runs but you know what i mean) thats why I’m not surprised that murry is out of juice and very prone to lower body injuries.

That hip resurfacing really affected andy’s speed movement. Though his playing pain free but totally different during his prime. Props to him for his hardwork and determination.

The fact that Andy even made it out to the court after his previous matches is impressive.

Andy Murray, batallador ; después de haber jugado un mach de cinco sets fué combativo, a pesar de su edad y su cirugía de cadera es admirable.

Andy played an amazing tournament. It’s a shame though. Before that hip injury he easily dominated RBA on any surface.

That injury flipped a one-sided rivalry completely. Sad.

Another gargantuan effort from Murray but just fell short this time. He’s still got some decent stamina in him despite the sizeable decline.
