Incredible match 💥 Never been a huge Stefanos fan, but he played a great game. Sinner was better in the 3rd and 4th sets, but Stefanos came out strong as hell in the 5th set and once he got that break, I knew it was going to be tough for Sinner to win. It looked like nerves got the better of Sinner in those last couple games. He starting missing his serve a lot and overhitting the ball, causing unforced errors. Past experience prevailed on this one. If Stefanos can keep up this level of play in the semifinal and final, he will win this. (But for some reasons, a lot of players seem to get more meek and timid when they play Djokovic…)

Amazing match! Really sad as a sinner fan, but tsitsipas has seriously raised his game. He’s playing on another level at the moment

Feel for Sinner. He always goes out after playing tremendous matches. Like the thriller against Alcaraz in US Open QF or against Novak in Wimbledon QF. Great young player. And kudos to Tsitsipas👍

Sinner fought back, but 90%+ on serves in the final set helped Stef a lot. Going to be a big second week at the AO

I’m a fan of Jannik’s game with his epic strokes and speed of the hits.
Stephanos has an amazing game but it looked like he’d raised it to another level all together.
Jannik is still super young and learning. Once he breaks through, he’ll be hard to stop.
Thank you AO TV for the beautiful videos and amazing editing.
Cheers,
M

Best match of this round so far. Sinner deserved to be in the quarter or the semis. Hopefully he can go back to the top 10 and have longer runs at grand slam events.

Tsitsipas has such a beautiful game it’s hard to take your eyes off. And he has this knack of producing great, memorable matches. Overall a great asset for Tennis. Needs to improve his backhand though if he wants to win a major.

today was a rare day where sinner just couldnt convert break points. 4 for 26 is just devastating and it didnt help that stef was on fire today. jannik has had so many tough grand slam losses recently. with him gone i dont think anyone is stopping novak. he’s going to annihilate the rest of the draw

Jannik, never lose heart!! Your time will come and you will solve Tsitsipas and Alcaraz, no problem. I am very confident that you will do it. Just keep working hard. It’s a matter of time.
