What a goated PERFORMANCE from the 🐐. It was more about Djokovic ‘s great performance than Rublev’s inefficiency. He can make even the best player look ordinary when he plays like this! 22 is coming home!!

The big 3 are the big 3 because of matches like this, hitting their stride in the R16 and peaking in the QFs, definitely have tons of room in the tank for the SFs and finals

Why i see novak as a god how versatile and flexible, endurance including come back from the tough time like no others. Even At his older age but he still dominate the games. No players like him will exist in a century probably

Never been a fan but dude is simply unplayable skill wise and mentally when he’s keyed in at grand slams. Like him or not, the guy just knows how to win. Period. Gotta respect him for that.

He’s got an injured leg and he’s hitting harder and serving faster- how’s that possible? I have no doubt about his injury, but this is really crazy pushing himself at the limits … Inspirational stuff… from both players – – – and Rublev not holding back and going all out… kudos to both of them…

It’s insane how good Djokovic is. He challenged the Rublev forehand to clinch the second set. Looked as though he did it just to say you can’t beat me even on your forehand side.

World is biased !!

If Djokovic is mentally & physically tuned in, no one is beating him one bit !!
No gamestyle is breaching his defence or offence !!
Him also putting a bit of a muscle is like a giant standing at the other end !!

He simply suffocates the opponents !!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve seen the same match at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. If you see them live, you realize that Nole is unplayable

Here goes Novak once again grabbing a SLAM….”Novak is 38 and going to retire”…..no one ever said! Vamos Novak!

Rublev isn’t an easy opponent… Surely not someone against whom you can have scores like 6-1, 6-2 and 6-4 especially when he played awesome against someone like Rune in his last match… Don’t know what to say about Djokovic… Beast of beasts…

Again some people will say Tommy paul has chance against him or Tsitsipas in the finals against this guy. But the whole of world should realize when he plays his best tennis no one is better than him. Not now, not in the past and will not be in future.

Rublev was playing some of his best this tournament and yet he got demolished in this fashion by Novak. For me, this is the most competitive era, everyone in the top 50 or 100 can defeat anybody on a given day but Novak is above the competition.

Novak Djokovic has reached at least 10 semifinals in every Grand Slam

Australian Open: 10
Roland Garros: 11
Wimbledon: 11
US Open: 12

Completeness. 💥💥💥

I'm Always Right

Rublev needs some more variety in his game and needs to improve his second serve. He only won 32% of his second serve. That’s not gonna work against Novak.

Djokovic makes it look too simple but behind all his easy win towards tough and world class opponents there is hard work, pain and perseverence.
