To say Wu vs Taylor is tangled is an understatement they both played very very well. This match is insane. the only weakness is the handshake.

Wu’s forehand has a lot of variety! His forehand is very powerful without a big take back. Great footwork and solid return! He will certainly succeed on fast court.

Wu’s backhand is honestly really damn solid. Was awesome to watch, as well as the acceleration he gets on his forehand shots, out of nowhere he would just increase the speed of play and catch you off guard. Fritz looked like he was gonna fall over a couple times trying to get to the ball

Haven’t watched Wu’s matches before but he has such a relaxed style of play, as if he has all the time in the world with the ball. Will be interesting to see how far up the rankings he goes. Also, what happened at the net? Wu went for a hug but Taylor wasn’t up for it?

Wu is a Junior grand slam champion. He is gifted and let’s see if he could make it to top 20.

Wu has a solid physique that he has the potential to run around and make excellent footwork. Fritz is famous in his slapping forehand but Wu encountered him very well. The change of pace in rally is amazing. Keep up Wu!

Been watching Wu for some time now. Look at his record of wins and losses in the last 12 months. It’s crazy. He’s the real deal.

I saw Wu play in the Challengers last season and even then his ball striking was impeccable. He just needed to put things together. Now it appears he has. Good win by Wu. I can see some ATP titles in his future. It’s going to be interesting to see how he does in the Slam events.

Taylor is not willing for a hug. But Wu played very well and deserves the win. Hope he will get the champ tomorrow.

Yibing Wu has some solid forehand plus his mental resilience is also top-notch. Can easily be a top 10 player.

Wu’s forehand is a fearsome weapon, even when he’s on the back foot his opponents need to watch out for a sudden injection of pace

Thanks for posting these highlights! Two very good matches we have witnessed! Wu is a beast on the court even tho Fritz have his best as well!

WOW, Wu only hit 13 unforced errors in 3 long sets combined with 33 winners so he’s not just keeping the ball in play. His consistency is really impressive and a huge advantage!

Wu’s spin is insane, and his use of it is really smart—he’s really tapped into something at age 23. I think Fritz should have given him the hug at the end that Wu went in for—it’s a tremendous accomplishment for Wu and not a huge loss for Fritz.
