Great to have Carlitos back – if he can bring 50% of the excitement he brought last year, it’ll be a great year for him, and tennis fans in general. So fun to watch him play.

Thank god he’s back. Carlos is one of the few players that truly excite me nowadays. Pure animal talent.

This guy can put the ball anywhere he likes on the court, and I think that’s what makes him stand out from the rest of the new guys. Its something the big 3 have, they can change direction of the ball off any wing, place it anywhere they like and that’s very very hard to do

Djere is not an easy opponent on clay to play after such a long break with injury. Well done Carlos.

He is still the same highlight machine as last year. He is one in a billion, and by far my favorite player after Roger is sadly gone.

It is amazing to see the comeback of Carlos ALCARAZ after a harsh injury, not an easy glory. I believe that he will demonstrate a more unwavering and unfaltering performance in the following clashes in order to observe this consistent upswing within this stage.

Es hermoso ver el regreso de Carlos ALCARAZ despues de la lesion larga, no una victoria facil. Creo que el mostrare un rendimiento mas solido y confiable en los partidos siguientes de observar esta ascension estable en esta etapa.

I feel like Alcaraz’s kick serve has gotten better. it seems to bounce up more. Or it could just be the claycourt surface:)

Alcaraz has so much pull and it’s not difficult to understand why. Very glad to see the young star back in the mix 🔥🔥🔥

I missed Carlos on the courts. See, tennis can be an exciting sport without being a clown on court like other certain players!

Carlitos is the only player I truly like on the men’s tour, big 3 included. I’ve always been a FedEx fan, and Rafa and Nole excite me too ofc, but there is something that irks me in every one of them. These newer gens of abusverevs, d1ck kyrgioses etc never did anything for me. Thank God Carlitos is back! Vamos 💪 not that anyone cares lol, but I’m happy to see a lot of people feel the same about him 🙂

I’m always impressed with players from countries where they do NOT need the help of wild cards to grow their talent. Countries with tournaments that focus the majority of their wild cards on their own citizens SHOULD have MANY MANY players at the top. Those points are automatic and yes discriminate against other countries (but nothing will change) so you would expect them to take advantage of those points. I do admire tournaments that do not discriminate and it’s a breath of fresh air (and fairness) to see them include wild cards from several countries.

God Carlitos is finally back, his absence was so GLARING at AO. It’s unreal how ecstatic and dynamic he is to watch, just a furious storm of energy on court. Considering his injuries and 4 months away, his form in his 1st match back is great and he’ll shake off the rust with more match fitness 🔥🔥🔥
