There is a lot of hype around Alcaraz, no doubt about that. Who knows if he’ll live up to the promises in terms of slams and titles won, rivalries forged etc but wow, there’s no denying that he is GREAT to watch. His play style is so breathless, all over the court at all times, crazy angles, crazy drops, crazy gets. Highlight reel generator.

I just really enjoy the way Alcaraz plays. Of all the new-gen players, he’s the one I really root for cos of his all-round game, guts and passion — and he also seems like a nice, unassuming guy. True heir to the Big Three’s throne.
