I wish we could have seen what Norrie did to win both sets after Monteiro broke back to get to 5-5. Not easy to recover from that situation, especially in the first set where the break back came after a controversial line call.

Monteiro equalized at 5:5 only to be broken back to lose the set, TWICE! It simply shows how tough mentally Norrie really is.

Baez seems to be a really good guy, love his manners in this instance. he didn’t even celebrate the win and showed utmost respect. kinda like the south american ruud

It hasn’t been Schwartzman’s year so far. Got chopped in most of his matches, he needs to make a change. Probably anything will do, new strings, new practise drills, etc. Either that or skip a tournament where he won’t lose points so he can focus on himself for some time

How many 7-5 sets has Norrie won recently lol
Bellucci troubled Djokovic a couple of times and played a good first set against Rafa at RG 2008 that’s all I remember
He had great potential but never fulfilled it

The current tennis style in which the strengths are so great and the height of the player has so much significance it seems that Diego just have exhausted his abilities.

Unfortunately, it may be time for a generational change for the Argentine star. Small but powerful strokes, footwork and aggressive play. Baez is great. Diego should get some rest.

Always liked bellucci’s game. Wondered what had happened to him over the last 4-5 years. good career.

Schwartzman had a bad start to the year in 2020 then out of nowhere beat Nadal in Rome which kickstarted his career again. So you never know.
