VERSA TENNIS CLIPS

Emil looked superb, definitely have been working on forehand and it’s becoming a weapon. However I feel like in the 3rd set there were too much baseline rallies where Zverev is very comfortable

This is a step in the right direction for Sascham Very good win. Meddy might beat him but zverev is definitely getting better. Atleast he is doing better than Thiem. It’s unfortunate how Thiem has fallen since the injury’s

Love Sascha, not only he’s back from an injury but he seems to be enjoying himself, hope he keeps doing well.

Emil hit into Zverev’s backhand way too many times from what can be seen in these highlights, which is Sascha’s stronger wing.

Scary Freak

Such an outstanding throw from Ruusuvori. He had an easy volley at breakpoint, and… well, you know the rest. Although he’s been playing a lot better than Zverev in this match.
Typical Finnish tennis =d

The mid-tier top players just don’t play Zverev correctly. I don’t understand.
Why are you blasting balls at someone 5 meters behind the baseline?
By time it reaches them, it loses most of its pace ANNNDDD you’re more likely to miss yourself.

Get in position, hit short angles, close at net.

The only reason I can imagine is that it’s not part of his/their game(s), so they’re uncomfortable doing that; especially under pressure. (Which, ironically, is when Zverev usually falls back even more!)

Emil lost in most cases. Zverev didn’t win the match. Barring a couple of great winners from Zverev it was Emil who made some poor shot choices and mistakes. Yes, Zverev is getting better but things would have gone the other way had Emil been a bit more consistent and didn’t do so many unforced errors at crucial points.

Too bad Emil doesn’t have a drop shot in his arsenal. Zverev was so far back from the baseline, it could have been so effective.
