Stan’s level of performance at this point is incredible, considering his age. The guy is still going toe-to-toe with top-10 players, and seems to be fairly safe from injuries (unlike a lot of other older players). But I think people forget that he has won 3 grand slams (and defeated Big Three players in all 3 of those finals), so in his prime the guy was an absolute weapon.
LOVE IT. Glad he handed Rune a good tightly contested loss. Dude needs to grow up and stop acting like a tool. Stan the MAN at 37!
Wawrinka is almost double the age of Rune. His skills and maturity are an example for Holger to follow

Rune is like that annoying gnat that you keep swatting to the side and even when you think it’s dead, it comes back unexpectedly.
Stan at his prime was my all time favourite player. One thing I noticed watching him live in Montreal and Paris is he says thank you EVERY single time to a ballboy giving him a ball. Hes amazing. Glad he won, but he will never challenge for a slam again unfortunately.
i love so much watching Rune, he reminds me so much of myself playing tournaments when i was 12 years old, with my mummy on the side. I was childish, constantly hysterical, self absorbed. i was totally ridiculous 😂
This just showed how experienced stan is. He was up a set and a break in Paris last year. He was in the same situation today. Thought he was gonna lose it.
