The match was patchy at times but they played some absolutely incredible points. Simply stunning tennis. These two are the future. Praying they stay healthy
Alcaraz is amazing. Didn’t play his best at first, lots of unforced errors on his forehand but settled down. Like his net play. His accuracy and power are so impressive. It seemed like Sinner did better from the baseline winning most of the long rallies.
I think this rivalry will push Jannik to greatness. He’s the kind of kid who relishes the challenge. And Carlos is his ultimate challenge.
The level of tennis these guys are playing today is simply unbelievable

Alcaraz broke Sinner his spirit a little clutching that first set so close it could have gone easily the other way. I felt after that Alcaraz took more and more control. He has lightning fast feet and mind to recover ball after ball as quickly as he does. Every opponent has to win every point more than once to get it on the score card. Together with attacking skills dropshot timing and wrong footing is exceptional, he is way a head of mentally as well. A joy to watch. Sinner al ready a great player but I expect greater things of Alcaraz.

Every time I watch Alcaraz play, it’s hard to find a weakness. Great groundstrokes, great offense, great defense, has great touch with the drop shots, incredible mental strength. The kid just has it all.
