Zverev and Medvedev’s match was utter midnight madness. Both of them losing their own points black and blue. It was just crazy and unbleebable.
Wow. to lose 6-3 in the first set, double fault to be broken two times in the second set, and STILL end up winning just shows how insane his defense and stamina are.
An underrated aspect of Medvedev’s year so far is how resilient he’s got in the big points. Even when zverev served for the match in sets 2 and 3; you just knew Medvedev wasn’t going to make mistakes. In his previous runs he was so dominant and never had to face these big moments as often. This time, he’s faced them with aplomb.
Guys, I’m sure we deserve a separate video with another one of the best matches between Medvedev and Zverev! Give it to us!
Medvedev is really improving on clay. His sliding is getting better. also kudos to Zverev for playing exceptionally good for most of the match. Yeah, he kinda lost focus in important moments and gave free points. but overall it was a good match, he’ll be better at Madrid and Rome

I don’t think that Daniil did something disrespectful towards Sasha, but such a handshake can only be explained by bitter annoyance from defeat, although this is not an excuse

What a match! Medvedev is a monster. He is back in form after losing AO final. He reminds me a lot of Djokovic. It’s like you are playing against a wall and every ball gets back to you. He improved a lot on clay.
It is kinda a fact that Djokovic doesn’t perform well in Monte Carlo, but I was still kinda disappointed that he lost.
Since the first match I wasn’t impressed with his form. So many errors, unbelievable.
He looks really slow and rusty.
Anyone knows why he was wearing an elbow sleev? And does he have hamstring problems again?
