Davidovic playing damn good, the thing that really helped alcaraz win there was the one thing you don’t expect the 19 year old to have. Consistency and composure, his level didn’t drop no matter how high the level of his opponent

I can’t believe cerandolo lost like that he was doing so good but obviously something got under his skin and made him upset and he lost composure and the match. Sad.

Cerundalo is a very skilled player but lacks concentration to hold his level throughout the match, it looks like he just “checks out” mentally sometimes.

LOVE watching Evans.
There is no one like him on tour.

Seriously crafty, with a huge range of slices and a brilliant fighting mentality.
And fantastic net player too.

Could go on 🙂

Dan evans is one of the few pros on the ATP tour who survives using mostly the slice on the backhand. The other two are Steve Johnson and Feliciano Lopez. They are all entertaining to watch.

Evans might be the most technical counterpuncher on tour right now. To beat him, either you’re an out of this world genius, like Alcaraz and Federer, or you display patience and court wisdom.

I knew this match was going to be super hype. They have been playing each other since juniors, and DF has always been super graceful when he lost to him (despite the age difference). They seem to be buddies. You always play better vs the homies. 😄
