I love Lajovic’s compact backhand. It isn’t as flashy as Gasquet, Wawrinka, Federer, etc. but it gets the job done. An impressive win for Lajovic.

Lajovic has only 1 ATP title and he is 32 years old. It doesn’t make sense, he’s such a brilliant player. Let’s hope he’ll get this trophy. 🙏🙏

for those who don’t know:
Lajovic is one of the nicest-coolest-most intelligent-down to earth ATP players in the tour.
Let’s hope he’ll get this trophy!

Djokovic’s placement and shot deflection is as good as ever, but he is not generating much power from his shots these days. In fast courts (Australia, Wimbledon) this is not a problem, but in slower courts it is.

Wow, just wow! 🎉 This was one hell of a match. Crazy speed and overall quality on clay. Looks like they are playing on hard how fast they hit. Hats off to both guys and Lajovic especially for his anticipation and super quick foot work. Bravo! 👌

Happy for Dusan. Really nice guy and great player too, just does everything well. Whenever I watch him play I always wonder why he isn’t ranked higher and why he hasn’t won more. He deserves a big win like this.

Lajovic
I remember well the first time I Saw him here in Madrid ATP 1000 uauuuu
So impressive his shots, especially his backhand. He is humble, you can see after this huge win against his friend and also Serbian, Nole.
I expect him to win this title on Sunday.

V Lajovic has some impressive stamina in this game against the World No. 1. Every once in a while, a star like Novak will have to descend. It’s certainly wasn’t the first time.

Lajovic played the game of his life n took down Nole with some inspired play n more than a little determination!! Wonderful match with both players making some improbable shots…I applaud them both, but someone had to win n Lajovic did it!!! Nole will rise again, I’m sure👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Remember seeing Lajovic in France about 12 years ago and thinking this guy’s got a great backhand but for some reason he has never kicked on as I thought he would….still a fabulous player and I had him down for the win before watching the match…..he should also have won more comfortably but got a bit tight because of Djokovic being on the other side of the net.

This is the most sensed angle of a tennis match. You can see the length of the court and we can appreciate the speed of the ball. Great stuff.

I’ve always liked Lajovic’s serve. It’s so connected in one fluid motion and aesthetic looking

Didn’t get to watch the game but ah man that was such a fight in the second set for nole and lajovic somehow managed to put out the fire of Novak’s god mode. Congrats Lajo! Super excited to see a legendary RG this year 🤩
