ALcaraz is making it look easy, and looking physically a lot stronger. I’d say he’s the favorite at Roland Garros if he can stay healthy.
Nothing to say about the big tournament which Musetti and Evans have played, elevating noticeably their level in this surface as I’ve never seen from both on clay and making a great stuff through the way to reach the semifinals here.
Alcaraz and Tsitsipas will be an exciting final to follow no matter who wins at the end.

You can’t have a weak wing like Evans on the backhand and expect to ever beat Carlos. Inside out is too good, too powerful, and too accurate. He attacked that wing the entire match and made Daniel, who is a very solid pro, look like a college player.

Hats off to Dan. Clay is like Mars to him but he had a great run. Tried everything in the book but Carlito wasn’t phased. Stefanos played focused tennis to breakdown Musetti. I still see so much room for Lorenzo to better himself, but he better start making a move before the pack leaves him in the dust.
