Ruusuvuori is getting a little more consistent over this clay court season, excited to see what the grass will bring for his game

Watch a Rune or Carlos match and you can be sure to see some fantastic tennis. These guys actually played double together when 10 year old and already then you could see the skills and mentality that brought them to the top of the ranks today.

Zverev has grown lots. Whatever he lacks in match practice, he makes up with attitude nowadays imo. Something happened with him – he is more mature and has more resolve. Nice to see. Imagine he pairs that with his abilities similar to before his injury. He is gonna be a force to be reckoned with.
Go Sascha ! Respect on your transformation. Gruss aus Hamburg / Singapur!@!

Carlos is fire and passion. Fighting erratic play and a very dangerous opponent, he kept is head and kept on fighting. Whatba dramatic win for the youngster. Ruusuvuori is coming along splendidly 😊

Despite Rune’s unattractive personality, which I moved on to see more positively. He really impressed me this game. We could clearly see throughout the game, that his main objective was to make Bublik make Unforced Errors. However, all this, without being too dependent on that mentality, which is very difficult mentally. Personally, it affects your trust to suddenly attack, very significantly, which he managed to do perfectly. So, props to him, for that amazing mental tenacity.

I was defending using the phrase “epic comeback” in Alcaraz highlights (and it was epic in a way), but I guess Zverev’s comeback was equally if not even more impressive.

Ruusuvuori played amazingly well agaisnt Carlos i hope he will continue to grow like that !
I’m glad to see Zverev playing better and better, he should do more serv/volley he’s kinda good at it, a lot of precision in crucial moments !

Tremendo tenis se pudo ver. Me alegra ver que Alcaraz puede ganar también sabiendo sufrir, un poco al estilo de Rafa o Novak en ciertos partidos. Estuvo cerca de la derrota.

02:45 Bublik & Rune
06:00 Wawrinka & Rublev
08:35 Carballes Baena & Zverev
I’m doing what’s called “The Lord’s Work”, for putting in these timestamps. It’s a blessing.

In the Alcaraz match, in the first set and up untill the first half of the second Ruusuvuori was playing quite well with very few unforced errors and Alcaraz many unforced errors. Alcaraz was lucky to not being broken in the second set. But all of a sudden, the finnish made many mistakes in a game and Carlitos managed to break his serve. From then on Carlitos started to find his game and Ruusuvuori to make more mistakes.
Btw, throughout the whole match but specially in the second set when Carlitos had to face break points, his serve worked quite well and helped him today.
