Fritz Vs Zhang was probably the best match of the tournament so far for me. Scintillating tennis.
ZM was a joke. Howling squealing and moaning and huffing and puffing but weak tennis. Loved it when Stefanos swatted him away and shut up the Madrid crowd.
Tsitsipas played some incredible points during the 2 set, especially backhands winners down the line, and you shown non of them, literally non,but Zapata’s winners and mostly his errors,
unbelievable!
Happy to see Karatsev gaining confidence and consistency! Such a roller coaster ride for him last few years; coming out of nowhere and shocking the world with some exceptional performances, and then falling down as fast he rose up. Hope he can consistently perform again and get back to his winning ways.
Great to see Karatsev back. I’ve been wondering where he’s been. My favorite dark horse. I want to see him back in best form.
Love seeing karatsev comeback. He been through a lot in his career.
Alcaraz is literally everywhere on the court. He has everything;power ,speed and accuracy.
Alcaraz is truly getting the top of the world…!!
It’s wild how Zverev’s only career top ten win at a slam was against Alcaraz last year.
Интересные поединки.Весьма неожиданные Победы Хачанова и Карацева.Победил сильнейший!Всем удачи!
How is nobody talking about Zhang performance against fritz like honestly he played insane😮
Karatsev and Khachanov are always tough, so no shame in Medvedev or Rublev losing to them. Fritz, on the other hand… that’s a bad loss. Meanwhile, after today it doesn’t look like there’s anybody left in this tournament with a chance of standing up to Alcaraz.
It’s difficult to judge from the match as Zapata Miralles was an exceptionally weak opponent (Struff will be much tougher), but Tsitsipas’ backhand hasn’t looked this good since the 2021 clay court season. Down the line, cross-court, returns of serve and even slice and drop shots, everything was working surprisingly well. Plus some of the cross-court forehands were top-class. I hope it’s not just a single match and he’s getting back to his old form.
What a performance from Zhang. Wu Yibing and him are looking to become Chinese tennis legends!
Bruh Karastev again spawns outta nowhere and is in a master quarter final
Say what you will about Tsitsipas but he is Tenacious!
Karatsev is just sublime to watch, he is tough as nails, a nice contrast to the sometimes smug Meddy
Khachanov and Karatsev are getting back to their peak form.
Karatsev finally back to 2021 form 🙂
Great tennis played by Aslan Karatsev, some extraordinary shot making from him. Stayed mentally tough as well throughout the match! Bravo!. He also has the strongest, manliest legs and thighs on the men’s tour. Hulk legs Karatsev! ! ( Struff and Shapavalov are close seconds, strong legs and thighs too! ). So glad to see Tsitsipas in top form again. Great win over Zappata M. Still needs to be more aggressive and not shy away coming to the net at every opportunity. Moving forward he will have to play much tougher opponents, including strong legged Struff in the next round! .
Alcaraz’s reaction power is impressive, see at 2:17.
