Nishikori’s game is so pure, very beautiful to watch… when he doesn’t collapse. At 5-2 in the second he started to play short and makes some errors, not the first time he has hard times to close the match in this tourney. Amazing come back to the tennis, anyone can see he totally fits the ATP circuit already. Zheng looks very promising, he reminds me a bit Sheldon.
Good to see Nishikori back at it again. It is a shame the tournament did not have better promotion. I live in the Island and could have gone and see it live. Let’s see who they bring next year.

久しぶりに見ても痺れる錦織のプレイでしたね。
フォアはライジングでも打てるし、時間があって引き付けて打つ時はコースは読めなくさせてスピンでキッチリ押す。
バックは言わずもがなでミスはしないし、随所で放つダウンザラインは流石です。
後は何といってもリターンが強い。読み切って前にグッと入り込んで打つと相手は時間を奪われて返球が苦しくなるし、錦織はベースラインにいるから4球目も強く打って主導権を握れる。
いろいろ書きましたが錦織がカムバックしてくれて本当にうれしい！見ていてワクワクします。
