De Minaur didn’t disappoint. He sure can run, a lot. His hitting is more solid, and this is against Alcaraz.

Thank you for continuing to be the best example of what tennis highlights can be and not showing the winner in the thumbnail!

Congrats to De Minaur as well, a great tournament and he made it competitive. His attitude the whole week was exemplary, including the loss today.

Undécimo título ATP de Carlitos y sólo tiene veinte años. A este paso batirá todos los records habidos y por haber. ENORME el murciano que recupera el número 1.

I wouldn’t imagine him lifting the title at the start of the week. He improved his game massively! Nice job

Молодец Алькараз. А у Деминора, кстати, очень классный удар справа, хлёст. Бьёт как плёткой. Браво, оба молодцы!

I like the way Carlitos respects other players. He’s the full package – tennis superstar and superstar person

Carlos’ improvements on grass has been so rapid, he even surprised himself. He’s the only active player to win 500+ title on all 3 surfaces outside of Djoko, Rafa & Andy…that’s the caliber he’s reaching. Brilliant stuff from him, I can’t wait to see what he pulls off in Wimbledon.

What an impressive match up! Finally De Minaur is almost a more impressive rival for Carlos than Sinner. Two of the fastest guys of the circuit on the fastest surface gives an amazing show, we definitely a longer grass season!

Top-notch final encounter, well-deserved title for Carlitos! It is worth everything what he succeeded on the grass court, attaining the first ATP grass court title of his career. Absolutely a tremendous achievement from Carlos ALCARAZ!

Seems like Alcaraz simply has the confidence to finish points with big winners, no matter how small the target. Feels like his opponents are wasting opportunities to put the ball away, or at least make him run more. Kid just has the ability to rip the ball better than anybody right now, very dangerous player to be remotely passive against.

From a Novak’s fan, Carlos is a real deal. He is a fast learner and in my opinion a great threat to Novak in Wimbledon.
To me he is for sure 2nd favourite to lift the Wimbledon Trophy

6:50 Did you ever see a player hitting a forehand of that speed from a ball with absolutely no pace ? That’s incredible. Even Nadal at his best didn’t have such power.

I saw this dude up close practicing at Newport and it was like how does he ever lose a match on grass?! His game is so powerful and he has all the finesse shots as well.

Alex played really well. The score does not reflect it. Carlos is an all surface threat. His footwork is quick and allows him to get into position irrespective of surface.

It is so delightful to see Carlitos being so dominant but at the same time you see a lot of room for improvement, mostly tactically. As a big Novak’s fan, I can’t wait to see the next meeting of the two. Congraths to Carlitos.

We love you Carlos. Alex played so well. All those comparing Carlos to Novak l, guys you should be ashamed for comparing him. He’s just turned 20 and cramped/got injured during a majors semifinals against one of the greatest of all time Novak. Carlos was just playing his tennis and all Novak’s fans were celebrating that he beat an injured Carlos? Where is the decency? I am not a huge Novak fan but I respect his achievements and contribution to the sport. So why can’t you Novak fans simply see Alcaraz as a 20 yr old who was just playing his 3rd Roland Garros and second semifinals of a major? There’s no comparison. Novak will always be a favorite because of his experience against Carlos who just won a grass tournament at only his 3rd grass court event. Can you believe that? Like him or not @carlitosalcarazz is a gift to tennis. He is a joy to watch. We love him because of his grace, smile , positive energy and humility. What a phenomenal athlete. We can celebrate a young champion in Carlos as well as admire the great achievements of Novak. Both can be true. This is for the haters. Grow up.

Well done Carlos!!! I mean, I have to say, Alex played a wonderful tournament, so he really has nothing to be ashamed of. It was a good match between two talents and, this time, it went Carlos’s way! Although, one thing. I fail to see how double faults are worthy of a highlight reel.

Carlos solved his two main weaknesses in today’s match:
1) He was focused from the first minute to the last, and did not have any of the momentary mental lapses that he has often been prone to have, costing him a game or a set.
2) I have often commented in the past year that he will have trouble against Novak or any other top players on their A-game days because his first serve was so poor, not nearly matching the speed and power of his forehand groundstrokes, and way too often landing far from the boundaries and corners. Today (and throughout the entire tournament), his first serve was vastly improved. Not only was he achieving serves upwards of 130 mph, but he was drilling them right down the center line or just inside the outer boundaries, gaining him free points for the first time I can remember. I always knew this would eventually happen; I was just surprised it lagged so far behind the rest of his magical game.

Congratulations to De Minaur for their sportsmanship and competition. I think he will never forget this meeting.🙄💯 But also the sincerest congratulations to Alcaraz 🇪🇦🔥For a fantastic show of tennis.

People saying Alcaraz is not as good on grass is just a testament to the overall ridiculousness of his talent.

He’s already more accomplished than 99% of any tennis player ever and he’s just getting started.

Carlitos is the real deal. Well behaved, composed, holding masculine frame, discipline. He is a great champion. A breath of fresh air among many clowns. He is the one who will take the torch from Nole. He is def a contender to W title.
