Has the defense flexibility of Nadal, has the offensive weapon of Federer, has the mental strength of Djokovic and has the same win against Djokovic in the Wimbledon Final like Murray.
Alcaraz – the perfect son of the Big Four

Alcaraz shows that, at 20, he’s already very mature and a complete player. He’ll win many more Grand Slams for sure. Well done, Carlitos!

Alcaraz wins this in a fashion like he never did anything else in his life. What a mental strength! What a shot brilliance! Sublime!!!

I’m a Sinner fan but I like Alcaraz. Humble, joyful personality with the finesse of Federer (those drop shots!), the power of Rafa (those smash returns!) and the elasticity of Djokovic (those crazy gets!). The next decade will be so, much, fun!

Mil gracias.

The mental strength Alcaraz had today at 20 years of age is something I have never ever seen. To win against Novak on a court he hasn’t lost the last 46 matches in that fashion in a fifth set is crazy🤯

What a match, what a victory! Once again Carlitos has proven how incredibly fast he learns and improves: this time there was absolutely no sign of mental or physical fatigue against Djokovic. On the contrary, this time HE toughed Djokovic out like I’ve never seen before. The ultimate turning point of the match was that incredibly long game at 3:1 in the third set that lead to Carlitos’ second break. That was the moment whe he really got into Nole’s head.

Federer peaked in 2004-05. Rafa was waiting to bring him down. Rafa peaked in 2009-10. Nole was waiting to bring him down. Nole peaked in 2011-12. No one was waiting. It’s been more than a decade since and he ran riots. The competition for those top guys in the last decade was so bleak that it gives immense pleasure to finally see someone challenge Nole and beat him properly.

The lob from Carlitos in the last game of the match was godly! It was as if he had the answer to every question Novak posed today.
Today’s match will be remembered for ages.
Take a bow, Carlos Alcaraz!

After losing first set 6-1 , the mental strength shown by 20 year old Alcaraz is just unimaginable…He took nothing for granted …Amazing attitude against the best in the business especially in grass court ..RESPECT…

And with this Carlos Alcaraz becomes the 1ST player to win Wimbledon outside the big 4 since 2002!!
Congrats King Carlos! ❤❤😊😁

This needs to be said! A lot of credit is due for Juan Carlos. He stays on the background unlike a lot of media hungry coaches and polishes Alcaraz, shaping him into the kind of player he has become. Big big credit to him as well.

Qué tal energía y técnica del joven Alcaraz. Al parecer esto ni lo soñaba Nole que se alteró de nervios. Este muchacho tiene muchísimo talento y habilidad para seguir triunfando en el deporte blanco.

I watched the game from the very beginning to the end and it was a pure excitement! Nobody could expect who will win until the final hit! For nearly five hours, nor Alcaraz neither Djokovic have lost concentration!
This match is unforgettable!

Absolutely amazing final, thanks to both players. Big respect to Djokovic, but I am glad the “fake number one” talks are finally over. Alcaraz deserved this win, he is the best thing that could happen to tennis near the end of the Big 3 era. And he’s beaten the GOAT on the surface where it was least expected. Incredible talent.

How he mentally recovered from losing the first set 1 to 6 and how he controlled the euphoria of the 2 sets to 1 comeback: this is unparalleled. The debut of the new Nadal.

Funny thing is that Alacarz seems to be an amalgamation of the Big 3. He’s got each of their qualities in him and that makes him an incredibly difficult opponent to take down. A lot of the match felt like Novak was playing against himself, Roger, and Rafa at the same time on the other side, it was ridiculous. Kudos to Carlos man, I mean the chap is something else! An extraordinary effort!

The swerve of his forehand swing is so much like Nadals and he also has a wicked backhand. On top of that he is also capable of brilliant lobs and chips that are well disguised, this guy is a complete package.

2008 Wimbledon Final marked a New Wimbledon champion, Rafa Nadal. It was my favorite match of all time and finished literally in the dark. This one was right up there with the twist and turns. So Happy for Alcaraz. Facing Joker on Center court (where he hadn’t lost since the QF in 2017) to match him mentally and physically, is not something anyone other than this 20 year old spaniard could do. Remarkable.

Joker said in a post match interview that Alcaraz’s game is the best of Himself, Nadal, and Federer. The poise, power, variety, and mental toughness, all wrapped up in a 20 year old body. That is scary.

The fact that Alcaraz made 66 Winners for 32 from Djokovic speaks volumes. This young generational talent has a winning mentality + serves to show how hard is to take Nole out.

The final reminded me of the incredible effort that Nadal had to make to dethrone RF from winning 6th straight Wimbledon title, same with Carlitos who had to snap the March of the invincible Djokovic from winning his 8th Wimbledon title..one of the top 4 Wimbledon finals in the last 30 years.
