Getting tired of it “almost” happening for Murray. Just wanna see him win 😭
The real “problem” for Murray is that seemingly every match he plays is 3 sets, regardless of whom he’s up against. There are no easy matches for him
Andy has proved once again that he’s one of the most impressive tennis player of all time. At 3:25, just magic on the court. What a point!
Fritz’s use of the drop shot in this match in my opinion is what got him the win. Well done!
You can tell that handshake came with mad respect from both players towards one another.

I was at this match, and it was really entertaining. I marvel at how good Murray’s return of serve still is.
murray is definitely still one of the best players imo with the most heart. goes for every ball, after so many years in tennis through the injuries and all. watching murray play was what got me into tennis. inspiring and a legend in his own right.

Taylor Fritz is one of the greatest athletes in the world of tennis! He has a great serve, and his endurance/stamina is remarkable! He gets better when he is under pressure!
Both players had a Great performance ! Murray at the end of his career and Fritz in his way to stay at the top 10 . It is amazing their backhand game!
Now if Fritz played that well all of the time he’d have won more titles.
99% of occasions Murray would have won that match against Fritz. Fritz played his very best a level you don’t see from him very often.
Murray’s backwards backhand at 3:27 made my jaw drop
I remember the first time I watched Fritz-Mexico against Wawrinka- he has evolved so quickly into this amazing player who can concentrate with the best of them–😊✌….
It’s unfortunate someone had to lose that match. Mad respect for both players leaving it all on the court for three hours.

I don’t know why, but I love that little 360 spin that Murray does when he has to return a difficult ball (either returning a serve or another shot). You can see it at 0:05 and he does it sometimes at other points. Amazing match this one, want to see him win another ATP Tournament, not just a Challenger like he did earlier this year.
Looks like an amazing match with lots of close calls, a close match with Murray very much in contention, Murray seems to be getting better and better, hes heading in the right direction and competing with the best ! 🙂
