It was really a stupendous tounament for Veronika Kudermetova. It was never easy to annihilate the seeded players and competitors one by one in each round. She has proven her resilience and quality in this WTA tourney. Huge congrats to Veronika Kudermetova! Well-deserved title!
It was not about how she defeated Iga Swiatek, it was about how she defeated a really strong Pavlyuchenkova.
If you watched both matches and you played tennis competitively, if you did not look at the rankings, it was pretty predictable the outcome of this match.

What a great comeback by Veronika. Her season was going down the drain. She left teary-eyed after being humiliated by Swiatek and then even worse lost to Venus Williams. Now this deserved triumph.

The underlying force of Veronica’s game is based on her confidence, discipline, temperament and concentration which creates the supreme level of her mental and physical performance..No one can question her mental strength and emotional stability..She’s cooler than ice..Veronica had developed and ideal manner of thinking, behaving and reacting that control the direction of her thoughts and focus on the primary task at hand..Not an easy thing to do if you are under constant pressure against top opponent like Pavlyuchenkova..
