Incredible, relentless hitting by Sinner. Towards the end, Carlos had no answers. Also congrats to him for reaching a career-high number 4 ranking.

Sinner an absolute monster from both sides on the baseline plus showed some finesse at the net. Alcaraz doesnt normally get pushed back like that. These guys will be battling for big titles years to come.

Bravo Sinner! This just shows you how incredible the consistency of the big 3 was.
It is not easy at all.

It seems that everytime Sinner faces Alcaraz he increases his game significantly. He is motivated and knows that they can have one of the best rivalries in the future. Hopefully he can find this level of play more regularly.

Sinner’s mental game was the difference in this match. He was a rock. The footwork of both players are remarkable. Sinners’ in particular is so controlled. He’s always balanced. Fed-like.

There are so many things I appreciate about Sinner’s tennis. The fact that he produces such outrageously powerful forehand without grunting is one of them ! 🦊

Finally sinner beats his mentality and unleashes his A game close to his full potencial, was lovely to see.

I don’t give a damn about who’s better and who’s gonna have a better career, I just feel blessed to be able to see them compete against each other.
That first set was so well fought

I think the fact that Sinner was on track to become a professional skier helps him so much with his balance. Its so amazing to see how a guy his size is reaching so many balls and is ever in control and nearly never out of balance.

I love how the Asian audiences “oooh” and “ahhh” at all the right moments then quiet between the points…they are the perfect tennis audience also, Asians attend the AO the most and its always the best, happiest vibe of all the slams.

Indisputable great performance from the Italian.
Beijing is not a Slam nor a 1000 but for me this is a point of no return for Sinner. The consecration of a champion.
Faced with an Alcaraz in good physical condition (so I believe and hope) Sinner demonstrated authority and maturity.
A steady arm and strong nerves even in the most critical moments.
Those who still doubted the Italian’s qualities must now think again.

Sinner seems to take his game to the next level whenever he plays against Carlos.. Exciting future for tennis..

The fact that Sinner started tennis only at 13 made him a real phenomenon to study. This guy got pro in 4 years basically. All other top players started at 4, which is a huge advantage. Sinner is just extraordinary

Big congratulations to Jannik for this clear victory. I didn’t think he would recover so well from yesterday. If he improves his serve and physical resistance it will be tough for everyone. Mentally he has improved a lot. His forehand is scary.

the real test for Sinner is Medvedev (and Djokovic).
If he can start having fair chance of winning against them, then the kid can go places

I love that this wasn’t a bad game from Carlito, but an extraordinary one from Jannik! Wow.

Awesome, this makes the tour even more interesting, hopefully Sinner, Alcaraz and Medvedev will keep battling it out and challenging Djokovic while he is around.
