I was at the match, it was a joy to watch and a great atmosphere in the stadium. Thought he had no chance after the first set and I was just hoping for a respectable score in the second set – but to come back and actually win the match? Incredible! Some great points and quite a bit of serve and volleying from Mochizuki too. A real talent and hope to see a lot more of him.

This match reminds me of a match Fritz had with Zhang zi Zhen, on clay in Madrid (1000). Also a third set tiebreak that ended well for another Asian player. 💪
