Like Alcatraz or not, he is starting to find form and is a legitimate contender.
Not the biggest fan of Carlos but he is more solid and consistent this week. He wants to prove a point at the end of the week.
Good to see Alcaraz hitting top form just in time, Medvedev actually played really well, very high level rallies. Not sure what Meddy is doing with all this crazy and totally acted grunting, trying to distract the opponent? He shouldn’t do this.
My feeling is, Medvedev played “smart” by not wasting his energy pushing for a win in this less-consequentual dual while also leaving the job of trying to take down his biggest nemesis Djokovic to Alcaraz😉 This will also have the added benefit of Alcaraz being tricked a bit in his subconscious mind into thinking that Medvedev should not be difficult to beat if they meet again in the Finals.

I m Novak fan and I hope he can take this tournament but Alcaraz is at the moment the best (smartest and most attractive) player on tour and he will probably play against amazing Sinner in final.
Rublev needs to enjoy playing tennis and have more confidence if He wants to stay on top and win more titles.

While I’m sad that it seems like Danii tanked his match and therefore Zverev having no chance to go through, I do understand him to do so. Bad organization. They should play at the same time so no one knows what will happen. Huge respect to zverev. Knowing he’s out already he still played fantastic. Next time…
