Alcaraz produced one of the best serving performances of his career, but Djokovic still dominated the match. This level is incredible.
I really love Alcaraz’s playing style, so epic to look at. He was back in form and hitting some insane shots and angles with such power. Novak was even more impressive and was just returning every single ball. Truly just a wall, so hard to beat. Amazing match by these two.
6-3 and 6-2 in less than an hour and a half?! That was a pure lesson in tennis and sports for an over-the-top kid. Not the first and not the last, for sure. Brilliant checkmate.

In my humble opinion, what really separates Novak apart from the rest of today’s pack (more than his defense) is his shot selection under pressure. Everyone else seems to make questionable shot selection in key points of a game or not attacking the net enough when the opportunity presents itself; opting to cling to the baseline instead. Novak’s vision is one level above the pack.
That’s why Djokovic is No 1 in the world. His tennis is unbelievable. It’s good to see he can still play is best tennis.
There is absolutely nothing more left to be said about the all time greatest tennis player Novak Djokovic!
How Djokovic can keep up and still best the fittest and highly skilled young players is beyond me. He doesn’t show any sign of slowing down.

I saw Djokovic playing live in 2015 Jan and fell in love with Tennis since then. This guy doesn’t stop to amaze the Tennis world, he’s gonna leave some unbreakable records for sure.
And Alcaraz’s management had already proclaimed the end of the Djokovic era after Wimbledon. It’s unbelievable how fast and agile the “old man” is.
Are we still in conversation about “GOAT” status?

What he did today PHYSICALLY, at 36 years of age, is so far beyond what anyone has ever accomplished. He was not only the best player in the world today, he was arguably the best ATHLETE in the sport today. Incredible movement, speed, & dexterity–for ANY age, but he just did it at 36. AMAZING.
