Great to see Osaka back! Power and pace on those shots, moving well, able to negotiate a tricky match near the end there! It’s going to take a minute to get into rhythm but she looks happy…probably the happiest I’ve actually seen her on court in a long time. Women’s tennis needs Osaka back! Lets go after AO!

Dude she got in shape like in no time. I saw her last year at the french open giving an interview and she looked like Serena now, as in weight. But now she looks like she’s almost back to her peak form. Very impressive coming back from pregnancy. Good job Naomi. Seriously amazing how she got into shape like that.
I was never a huge Osaka fan, but I wish her only the absolute best in this comeback. She can certainly win AO again.
That was a much more difficult match than the highlights would leave you to believe especially that 2nd set I’m surprised never heard Korpatch till today she’s good and a really lovely moment at the net👏👏👏👏🙂🙂 Yep Osaka starts the season up running with a straight sets win ‘inspite’ being away for over a year and giving birth her daughter 😲🙂♥️🌄 Happy new year!!!!!!!?!!!
