Both of em have the fitness to go 5. Wonder if Carlitos would have the mental to come back if this was a slam. 👀

If De Minaur will meet Novak in AO,he will be defeated in straight sets.If he meet with Alcaras he will lose it also. This is just a show for domestic people and a nice match for propagating the tennis in front of children in Australia.Real fight will start at Monday.

De Minaur: “It’s my charity towards Australia”
Alcaraz: “It’s my charity towards all Australians including Alex”

Looking at the circumstances surrounding this match, im surprised anyone in this comment section is taking the result as seriously as they are.

I have faith the demon can be the next Leyton Hewitt but he needs to stay focused because Novak and Alcaraz are not going to go easy on him in the AO, French Open or Wimbledon.

Good result for Alex. Will give him some confidence for next weeks. But honestly, Carlos played horribly and will not even come close to winning the AO in this form. There is a lot of work to do for him. I am really not sure why Carlos hasn’t played more practice match before the AO.

Where are Carlos drop shots??? He used to be so unpredictable with those but rarely uses it now.

It was a Charity Match why all the serious comments, Carlos and Alex were just having a good time and people are being critical of the play, I just don’t get some people…..

As soon as Carlos focused and dialled in a bit, Alex was in trouble so he’s still got some ways to go before he stands firmly in the top 10

De Minaur is in great form however, Carlitos is well brought up. He displayed real charity 😜to Alex and Austrailia. Good for him.

We all know that this was a charity match. We all know that Alcaraz has won two majors and Alex has won none and probably won’t win a major. As an aussie, I love watching Alex and Alcaraz as they both like to use all of the court and are good at the net.

De Minauers on a level that can beat anyone, his in gameplay, shots selection, and decision making can match any player in the Top10. The question is can he sustain such high level Tennis IQ, and become a great player he sees himself as.

What’s this obsession with trashing on Alex? No one says he’s going to beat Djokovic, Alcaraz and Zverev again in a slam; that doesn’t negate the fact that he’s now top 10 either.

Алекс что съел озверин, всех топов вынес с корта за последние несколько дней. Надеюсь, что он покажет хороший теннис на А.О. и не разочарует своих земляков.

Alcaraz is a great player, this proves his position in the rankings, he just needs to be more patient in passing the ball, rather than rushing into the net and forcing a lot of mistakes.
