Beating Djokovic and Medvedev to win for your first grand slam is not for everyone

Sinner is strong. His mind is. What a comeback. Medvedev was like an unbreakable wall but Sinner slowly but surely chipped it away. A memorable match for sure.

Sinner and Alcaraz makes tennis sooo watchable…no dramas on and off court just pure tennis and two great talents.

It’s crazy, Sinner’s mental fortitude is so good now. To be down 2 sets, and against Medvedev whose play style will break players mentally, its just amazing. I hope we can see greater things from him this and the coming years!

Sweetest victory for Sinner, beating Djokovic in his own garden and a legendary comeback from 2 sets down, I cannot be more amazed!

Feel sorry for Daniil. 5 times he’s been the runner-up. They said this AO he’s spent the most time on court for a player in Slam history. His first 2 sets incredible. Hopefully he’ll win another slam.

Tennis is in good hands with Sinner and Alcaraz finally getting their hands on grand slams

Sinner absolutely shut all doors on Medvedev in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th sets. Outplayed him from the baseline, which Medvedev was dominating in the 1st and 2nd sets.

Fully deserved win for the Italian!

Sinner today showed what a champion he is. Medvedev was on fire and he wasn’t playing at his best, yet he somehow figured out a way. This is something Nadal and Djokovic have done so many times over the years.

Medvedev strategy to surprise the opponent was insane he wasn’t himself the first 2 sets but 20 hours on court started to drag him slowly down and in the end of 4th set he was exhausted it’s obvious then la remonatada was in counting down, Sinner was full of energy, faster, stronger. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to lose a match from 2-0 to 2-3 once, twice is f**** up

What a show by the Italian stallion! Sinner is a true example of grit, perseverance, passion and never say die spirit. Even after losing the first two sets rather meekly his ability to turnaround things was amazing. Not easy to do that to Maddy, who is known for not giving up himself. Take a bow, Sinner.

Shed a tear a little bit hahahah, super proud of Sinner. Never lost my belief even when 0-2 down because I saw how Sinner’s serve improved gradually to the level he performed in semis when the 3rd set started. And boy he delivered. Simply sensational will and focus to win three sets in a row in his first GS final. Jannik Sinner, a Grand Slam winner, has a nice ring to it 🙂

– No unnecessary flair, style, or flamboyance ✔️

– No weird mannerisms or tics or loud grunting; ✔️

– No gamesmanship and strategic bathroom breaks or antagonizing the opponent, umpire or crowd, or screaming at the ball kids ✔️

– No fluff and over the top creativity, loud animalistic screams. And not playing for the admiration of the fans or to the galleries ✔️

– No deliberate defensive tactics, ploys, or under the table tricks to get under the skin of the opponent ✔️

– No whining, complaining, bit*hing and pointing fingers at anyone ✔️

I see the ball, I lock, I load, I destroy it… one of the purest tennis players to grace the court…Jannik Sinner. Forza Italia 🇮🇹

I’m telling you guys Sinner has it all. He’s most naturally gifted young player on the tour. Alcaraz is too short ( he’s probably closer to 5’11”) . If he’s healthy and focused, Sinner can do some crazy things ahead. He needs to have level head and right team around him but things are looking good so far.
