@Nyiffnyaff

Bublik almost had a double break when he realized “oh damn, what am I doing, gotta lose the first set!”

Winning the tourney while dropping the first set in every match is such an odd but incredible way to make history. Vamos Bublik!

Winning an ATP tournament after losing the first set of every single match is the most Bublik stat I’ve ever heard.

Amazing!! I can’t get enough of Bublik. So cool to see him play and win. Coric looked in great form as well.

The audience of Montpellier should be happy, as they have witnessed a great tournament. The final was highly entertaining and the result was not clear until the end. Both players fought until the last point and should be rewarded for that. Bublik is a pure talent, I really enjoy his attitude and his game.

Bublik has a naturalness and grace that are very special in this era of shrieks and fist pumps after every point. No jumping or sprawling after the victory, only a kind of embarrassed joy that are the mark of a true gentleman.

The tennis player to admire for iconoclasts.

Bandana Bublik is my favorite Bublik. A man with his talent, creativity, and showmanship being paired with a newfound drive is an absolute joy to watch.

After the birth of his son, he became a completely different player. He can no longer be a clown in his son’s eyes.

How this man plays low% tennis and actually manages to win. Bizarre shot selections, risky plays, unthinkable point construction. But the way he pulls it off, Bublik is a serious genius talent.

Bublik is so fun to watch. His variety in shots and the freedom that he plays with is inspiring. Love to see his playstyle win!

Tremendous and mind blowing statistics , the only tennis player ever to have won Montpellier after dropping the opening set in every match of the tournament , That’s ridiculously brilliant. … We are proud of you from Kazakhstan , What a talent!! Coric good luck next time great tournament !

OK, Bublik is truly renewed, playing better than ever but still having fun. So good to see!

Bublik has got to be the most frustrating player if you are his coach. So much potential, and yet the shot selections are insane.

Bublik gets destroyed in First round of AO by qualifier, then he wins next tournament, all matches after dropping a first set. Truly an unique player.

Bublik really has been so clutch this whole week. Between coming back from a set down every match, saving match points against Shapovalov in the 2nd set tiebreak, and this match where I feel Coric was arguably the better player and had tons of break chances that Bublik kept saving with amazing shots. It’s rare to see someone lean on their clutch play this hard for an entire title run, especially while playing such a carefree, aggressive style.
