@dsavkay

Both matches start with 1-6 set and the both last sets were 6-2 🤯 impressive how both winners turn the tide

4:35 Instead of celebrating winning this dramatic point, Alcaraz is immediately checking Sinner is not hurt after falling. Sportsmanship FTW.

A little while ago I was worried what tennis would look like after the big 3. I’m a huge Rafa fan who has followed him for nearly 20 years. I can now safely say I’m loving the new generation of tennis. There’s some fantastic talent and I’m enjoying watching these new rivalries.

Carlos now with a super-bee mutation. I’d like to know what impact his new serve had on the match. He definitely ran down a lot of balls that other people wouldn’t get to and used his superior variety to get through. Great net-play from both. I hope it stays competitive for the whole year.

Everyone is a gangster until Alcaraz plays his best tennis. Stopped unstoppable Novak at Wimbledon last year. Stopped unstoppable sinner here at Indian wells.

This is the new rivalry in Tennis. Sinner & Alcaraz bound to entertain us for years to come.

I love it so much when Carlos plays with his head. First set he got crushed by Jannik playing the “who can hit bigger” game from the baseline with no variations at all, hitting every ball at full speed. Sinner is the best at this game.

However, in the second and third set, Carlos added much more variation to his game, with drop shots, more slices, heavy topspin high slower balls a la Rafa to get Jannik out of his comfort zone, and it worked perfectly! Jannik has improved a lot at the net but Carlos still has by far a more complete range of shots in his arsenal, he needs to use it all to beat Sinner!

Hopefully, he will understand it for the next matches, as sometimes it seems as if he just wants to win the who can hit bigger game at all costs.

It was like turning the clock back to the early 1990’s to see Tommy Paul serving and volleying so much!

Janniks winning streak is over by an impressive performance from Carlos. When I see these two guys I can say for sure that tennis has a new rivalry and a bright future.
