I feel that Washington would have attracted more higher ranked players if they just shifted Toronto by a few days. Don’t get me wrong, the players playing are still amazing, but a change like that would have resulted in atleast 1-2 players higher ranked than Rublev(WN8) being the first seed, cuz it’s an ATP 500.
This kind of Kyrgios is what we want 🙏
If there’s only a miracle that can keep Shapo going. Such skills and such lack of consistency is a lethal combination hard to find.
Great highlights! Particularly impressed by Ruusuvuori’s and Kyrgios’ matches! 🤩 Fantastic tennis, as usual! 🔥🔥
Ruusuvuori has improved a lot. Well done.
What a performance from Ruusuvuori!
I always love watching Emil, i think he has a great looking forehand and backhand, good movement, and he hits with power. I feel like he has not played up to his potential for the most part. I can easily see this dude in the top 15 with his skill set. But i dont know whether he’s lacking the mental game, point construction, or what.
Rooting for Wolf all the way. This kid deserves many wins!!!
Personally, I want to see a fritz vs kyrgios match. My two favorite players with tournament, such good play styles both of them, and they BOTH have also been improving so much recently!!!

great to see jj doing nice! just feel bad that shapo losing match after match..
Ruusuvuori looking sublime.
Good performance from Wolf
Kyrgios is with very positive actitude. This is rare xD god for him. He has been very focused since that final in wimbledon
Mr. Rosemountain from Finland is looking a lot stronger.
He has the power, speed and hands to beat top players like Zverev, Schwartzmann and Hurkacz but has been lacking in the mental game. I hope he starts to iron his nerves and starts climbing the rankings..
All tournaments need more floodlights and schedule matches during evening/night … I can feel the heat through the screen
(Hurkacz vs Ruusuvuori) was a pleasure to not hear the players grunting on every shot.
Great results here. Emil looks to have a FH very similar to Sinner. Taylor playing his usual solid tennis. Loving seeing Nick playing this way. It wasn’t on the highlights, but he did something nice for a spectator who got hit in the face (regulation tennis shot, BTW, nothing like bad behaviour). And JJ surprised me here; I thought Shapo would win it, but he’s been playing below the level I thought he would play at.
Finally we can enjoy the talent Kyrgios has and when he is focused 🤝
Man, Shapovalov’s game looks so easy to fix I don’t get why his coaches can’t get it done.
JJ just looks like the absolute battery of energy. love this guy

Edit:Yes it’s Montreal, not Toronto. I forgot about the covid year. Before that, even years had Toronto.
I can see Ruusuvuori cracking the top 25 this year
Liking Nick’s new attitude, hope he can keep this up
Hurkacz is one of my favorites. He continues to work on his movement and footwork. A very good player.
Kinda miss seeing Wolf with the mullet, but happy for him going through pass Shapo
