Gasquet losing in 2 sets from a break up in each set and Basilashvili surprisingly coming back to his real level.
Arthur Fils is going to be an exceptional player. His serve and forehand is massive

The last ball that Fils hit after Gasquet hit the ball out lands perfectly in the left corner. So satisfying!
Saw Fils playing in Lisbon a couple of weeks ago and he really plays high level. He won that Challenger! A real promise!

What a player! It is probably highly frustrating for Gasquet , who has to face such kind of players early in the tournament.
All these comments about Fils yet the biggest surprise is Basilashvili hit the first drop shot of his career in this match.
I wonder if his win has anything to do with Ivan Ljubičić. It would be nice to see some Frenchmen succeed on tour. The last decent player in terms of achievement was Tsonga, but of course Monfils is incredible too.
