I can’t believe Alcaraz lost one point on Serve in the whole first set, he meant business today

Interesting to see the differences in their stroke production. Kokkinakis using his physical strength to generate power. Alcaraz getting his power from timing and superior positioning. One of the great things about Alcaraz is that his speed and footwork allows him to never get too close to the ball, so he can always whiplash his groundstrokes. Kokkinakis by contrast isn’t as quick and will try and muscle the ball instead.

I pray Carlitos will be injury free for the rest of his long career. No major injuries please. He will realize his full potential. Nice, humble guy.

Alcaraz is so good on hard court even better than clay i known he grown up playing on clay but the proof is he won his first Grand Slam on hard.

Carlitos is clearly improving his spot serving. 😍 The kid is still only 19 years young, watch him going into God Mode when he reaches his peak at 20, 21 years old. If he improves his serve and starts getting more free points, it’s game over for everyone.

Not sure about the draw, but if we have s Rune Alcaraz, Rune Sinner, Sinner Alcaraz, or FAA in the mix, this is gonna.be great

I see potential in Kokkinakis.

He just needs to trust in his own ability a bit more & go at it a bit more boldly & he can beat literally anyone.

Alcaraz is the most entertaining player to watch nowadays. The way he moves and hits the ball is so well executed and darn satisfying honestly. That forehand especially is a beauty. Hoping the best for his physical health and will be rooting for him in future tournaments & slams. Vamos!

This is perhaps the best tennis we’ve seen from the young maestro … his form has certainly improved. I was worried about him but he seems even more confident and consistent than even at the USO
