I learned from the commentary in this match that Dimitrov hasn’t won a title since Nitto ATP Finals in 2017. That’s just insane.
He has got great agility, great shotmaking but this sport requires such tough mental resolve without which you may can never be as effective as needed.
Novak played well. This year’s RG will be fascinating.
This was a very strange match. Dimitrov just couldn’t find that next level in that third set and he had many chances in the third set that he couldn’t convert. Novak punished him for it. Rightly so. Hope he grows from this match.
Grigor never disappoints in his ability to disappoint.
Djokovic is looking way better than in Monte Carlo and Banjaluka, still not at his best yet but this can be promising

At no point did I think Grigor would win this.
Even though Djokovic floundered in the second set, I predicted that he was going to attain this magnificent victory against powerful Dimitrov. The precision, accuracy and authenticity of Novak Djokovic are absolutely top-notch. At some points, Dimitrov competed more resolute and tenacious but the resilience and adaptability of Nole were in the high level on the court. It has literally enabled Novak to gain a vast advantage in order to vanquish Bulgarian tennis player.
Nothing in this world is a better visual than a Novak Djokovic ROAR ❤
