Tommy Paul has to be putting in meaningful off-court work-outs. Great quickness around the court. No choke, competing to the end. Quietly distinguishing himself.

Tommy Paul is the most cool character on tour. His calm composure is really similar to Rybakina. Congrats on the win. 🤩

Well deserved win for Tommy Paul and he’ll have a career high ranking of at least No. 12 come Monday. He never lost his composure. He could be the highest ranked player in the semifinals depending on how Sinner does against Monfils.

Tommy Paul is one the few players who usually seems to be having a good time on court. Most players play like their lives is at stake and they don’t look like they’re having any fun at all. It’s a real joy to see Tommy play. Carlos is one of those players too, but only when things are going his way. And one more thing, if Carlos continues throwing himself at those imposible balls on hard court like he did today, he’s gonna hurt himself very badly one these days.

Paul, has improved dramatically over the past year. Carlos was definitely a little off but Tommy deserved the win.

1:29. Well you can’t say Alcaraz has never tossed a racket in his life. Nothing wrong with that btw, but he did do it.

Tommy Paul beating Carlos twice this year, he can be number 1 in the world! Could be a clear objective!

Gave up after the second set because I thought Alcaraz would run away with the third set. When I saw Paul won, I had to watch the third set on TC+. In spite all of Alcaraz’s fist pumping, Tommy just never gave up. Surprised Alcaraz didn’t hurt himself the way he was falling all over the court. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Paul win this now.

First really big upset of the year for Alcaraz. Just like Medvedev, it happens. Both of these guys played so many matches this year already it was inevitable a match like this would come at some point
